A local company that are currently operating Organic Farming programs under the supervision of the Department of Agriculture Malaysia is looking for UK expertise in water treatment.

This is to treat the water quality that is channelled through the river systems to the paddy field areas. The procedure is to ensure that Malaysian paddy fields can indeed go organic and produce similar or even more yields than chemically produced crops which in turn protect the environment as well as the farmers’ health.

Invest/JV in Agriculture

Malaysian government is inviting UK investors in the Agriculture sector to consider Malaysia in their quest in doing business overseas. The government has allocated funds and ready partners for UK companies that are interested to expand their livestock/poultry farms, or set-up new agriculture businesses in Malaysia.
